Life by Marylee
Come on all you beachers! Get on down to
109 8th Ave., Pass-A-Grille and give a real St. Pete Beach
welcome to Stephanie Smith & Debbie Laight the new
owners of this landmark building, now named The Palm at
Pass-A-Grille!
They Have left the Northern Tundra behind
and brought some fun new ideas down here to the beach.
Beginning with their menu, consider the choice of munchies,
sandwiches, burgers and featuring the best calzones in
town.
But they are really building their
reputation on Pizza in many varieties, especially the "white
pizza" of fresh mozzarella, locatelli, ricota cheese,
grilled garlic, white wine and seasoned with virgin olive
oil. This is a real treat and a real pizza without the red
sauce.
The Palm Pizza of roasted tomatoes,
artichokes, cilantro, portabello mushrooms and imported
Tuscon peppers is also becoming a favorite, as well ase
Paradise Special of sausage, meatblls, garlic, onion,
mozzarella cheese and mushrooms.
Of course all ofese can be accompanied
with a fresh garden salad, individual or family size, and
your favorite beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Liquor
License is pending.
But the fun goes on all week with Tuesday
beginning locals happy night with 50¢ drafts, $1
domestic bottle and $2 imported beer.
Thursday night is sink or swim from 8:00
pm until midnight with $5 drafts - all you can drink. Enjoy
a free Pizza Buffet from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Friday is Country and Western line
dancing with Crickett instructing. One hour of instruction
then, as DJ, she lets you dance your heart out!
Every Saturday and Sunday afternoon there
is live music with Soulmate and Rob Pardo. $Saturday and
Sunday also feature $1.00 - 16 oz Drafts all day and all
night.
The Palm is closed Monday, but open
Tuesday through Thursday 4 pm to midnight, Friday 4 pm to 2
am, Saturday 11 am to 2 am, and Sunday 1 pm to midnight.
There is always ample room to stretch, dance or converse in
the spacious coutyard, under the sheltering umbrellas and
the Gulf Coast Stars!
Now if that's not enough, you can always
watch your favorite game on a movie size screen right next
to the bar.
This is brand new and everything is
subject to change, so whatever ideas you have, be sure to
let Stephanie & Debbie know - it's all a work in
progress to make your evening fun on Pass-A-Grille.
